Dream it Forward (DIF) Program

This program aims to support community-led projects focused on strengthening, sustaining, or adding value to grassroots initiatives that:

  • Positively impact the social, emotional, and spiritual well-being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, families, and communities in Western Australia.

  • Strengthen cultural identity and apply culturally informed ways of healing to improve social and emotional well-being.

  • Reduce risk factors and operate a range of activities to increase community protection against psychological distress.

  • Embed cultural understanding into the design and delivery of activities that enhance quality of life, and holistically promote wellbeing.

  • Focus on connection to country, culture, spirituality, family, and community.

Keep Australia Beautiful WA (KABWA) – Community Litter Grants

This program aims to provide financial support to communities and organisations for the implementation of projects which make lasting changes that reduce litter and change littering behaviour. It encourages integrated litter prevention projects, incorporating education, and engagement as key elements and are consistent with the KAB WA's Litter Prevention Strategy for Western Australia.

This program aims to support improvements to the quality of public art gallery infrastructure in regional WA.

Arts Short Notice Activity Program (Arts SNAP)

This program aims to support the growth of a vibrant sector that promotes the participation and active engagement of Western Australian artists and arts workers in high quality arts and cultural opportunities. Its key focus is to support applicants to respond to and capitalise on short notice, career building opportunities where the other DLGSC Culture and the Arts funding rounds.

Contemporary Music Fund Short Notice Activity Program (CMF SNAP)

This program aims to support short notice opportunities for individuals, bands and music industry professionals.

Partnership Acceptance Learning Sharing (PALS)

This program aims to encourage WA schools to develop projects promoting and advancing reconciliation in their local community.

Farm Debt Mediation Scheme (WA)

This program aims to assist farm/pastoral businesses and financial institutions resolve disagreements when the parties fall into dispute about the businesses financial arrangements. Its objective is to provide a method for farm/pastoral businesses and financial institutions to resolve disputes relating to the terms and conditions of a loan contract and associated commercial debt through mediation which is low cost, impartial and confidential.

Short-Term Rental Accommodation Incentive Scheme

This program aims to provide incentive payment for property owners who offered short-term rental accommodation during a specified 'relevant period' but are now willing to transition to a minimum 12-month long-term tenancy, at or below the maximum rent chargeable for their property's location. It encourages property owners to lease their properties on the long-term rental market.

Vacant Property Rental Incentive Scheme

This program aims to support owners of vacant residential properties in Western Australia, to transfer their property to the long-term rental market for at least 12 months to support people seeking a rental home.

NACC Biodiversity Community Grants

This program aims to improve the management and protection of the region's threatened Malleefowl (Leipoa ocellata) and Black-flanked Rock-wallaby (Petrogale lateralis lateralis) to ensure its ecological values are retained for future generations. It provides resources to assist land managers and community groups to undertake on-ground land management and adaptation activities, and enhance community skills and knowledge.

KidSport

This program aims to support children aged five to 18 years of age from low income families to participate in community sport. Its primary objective is to reduce the financial barrier of participation in community sport for low income families.

WA Waste Authority – WasteSorted Schools Program

This program aims to provide funding for schools to set up infrastructure and initiatives that avoid and recover school waste. It also aims to educate and engage students and the school community in waste avoidance and recovery practices.

This program aims to support regional-based talented athletes, coaches and officials which allows athletes to continue their development and progress along the athlete pathway from their home environment. It develops young regionally-based talented athletes to train and compete in regional WA.

This program aims to support projects for the health and wellbeing of the WA community.

Spacecubed Innovative Society Fund – Lotterywest IdeaStarter

This program aims to support early stage ideas, and help entrepreneurs at the beginning of their journey cross the chasm between idea and market adoption with a small amount of startup capital. It is one of the three streams of the Innovative Society Initiative Fund, supported by Lotterywest, which aims to build a stronger culture of innovation in Western Australia.

Tourism WA – Major Events Funding

This program aims to sponsor a range of major sporting, arts, cultural and culinary events in WA for locals and visitors to enjoy.
Applications must be submitted 12 months before the date of the event.

This program aims to fund a range of health promotion activities and campaigns to promote and encourage healthy lifestyles for all Western Australians.

Jobs and Skills WA Employer Incentive

This program aims to increase apprenticeship and traineeship commencements by assisting employers to meet the costs of employing an apprentice or trainee. It provides financial assistance to Western Australian businesses who employ an apprentice or new entrant trainee, and who have lodged the training contract for registration, on or after 1 July 2019.
