Staying in Place

The Ravensthorpe Community Resource Centre has partnered with InCasa and Mable to coordinate the delivery of the Staying in Place program to local residents. The Staying in Place initiative is specifically designed to assist elderly residents to remain living in their homes by connecting seniors with the support and aid they need.

The Staying in Place program aims to aid elderly community members to maintain their independence and quality of life within the comfort of their own home. If you are over 65 years of age, you may be eligible for a Home Care Package from the Commonwealth Government to assist with staying at home costs. We can assist with this process.

Your wellbeing is our priority, and we’re here to offer support and assistance with genuine care and compassion.

Want to be the boss of your own time? Enjoy work flexibility? Looking to make a positive difference in our community?

If you answered “yes” to any of the questions above, becoming a support worker for the Staying in Place program could be the perfect fit for you. Opportunities are available for workers to provide home maintenance, social support, transport services, meal assistance, clinical care and more.

To discuss services that you or your loved one require, or to enquire about becoming a support worker, don’t hesitate to contact us at the Ravensthorpe CRC.
